ok ill keep it short reading the other topic about random rattles my driver side caliper rattles when going over the smallest bump the pads are new and the shims there are 2 shims for each pad hope thats right as came from lexus the little metal bar that holds them in now ive seen people say about spring clips or something similer am i missing part of my brakes its an is200 all help welcome

As well as the pin there should be an anti rattle spring but that slides under the pin and into the 2 tops holes of the pads when inserted.

This will stop your rattle - they are probably moving around a fair old bit without this!
