Modify Rear Lights

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a silver is 220 sport and I wanted to improve the rear lights, I think the originals are a little bland and a bit too red.

I bought a set no eBay which looked good but now that I have them fitted, I can see that they look too bright / plastic / cheap on my silver car.

They look ok when they are turned on, but I can't have them turned on all of the time.

See pics attached, has anyone any advice or ideas to try and modify the lights to maybe make them a bit more colourful and less conspicuous ( in the bright plastic way they are now ).

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the replies lads, yes it's not too bad from the side but the back view looks very dead.

If only the bulbs could be red when unlit, that would help things. I am going to see if I can find someone that can modify the lights or at least look at trying to replace the clear bulbs with red ones, although I am not sure where to start ?

Has anyone any ideas on the type of companies that might specialise in the area of custom light modifications ?
