Driving Lights for my sc300

I am frustrated by the fact that my '92 SC300 does not come equipped with driving lights.

Instead, the car has corner lights that are used for signalling. I wonder if anyone has converted those corner lights into driving lights.

Are you in the UK? If you are then this is the answer, if not then check the law where you are.

In the UK you are required to have Full, Dip and indicator(turn signal) lights on the front of the car, any others are additional. If the corner lights are orange and the only signal indicator at the front then you have to leave them. If they are clear and are additional to front indicators then it's a simple mod.

Join a wire from your full beam to the lights you want to convert and they will come on as driving lights. It was a mod all 205Gti owners used to do with there front fogs!

Thanks for the info brn! I live on okinawa at the moment, and I am pretty sure that my side turn light are in addition to the amber turn signals, so I will give the mod a try.
