1993 Gs300 Audio Codes

Hi,

I have just bought my first Lexus. It's a 1993 GS300SE, it's a cracking car apart from the fact that I can't get the audio system to work. It displays SEC when the ignition is switched on. I have tried the last 3 digits of my VIN number, as suggested in threads elsewhere in the forums and a couple of other tries, but to no avail. I do not want to exceed the 9 tries limit and disable my system.

Have I missed something, any ideas?

UPDATE

Took head unit to a local specialist,

He opened unit, stripped some parts and retrieved active security code while I waited.

Very helpful, quick and cheap.

I would recommend this guy to anyone.
