How Much Would You Expect To Pay For A Stock Set Of 17" Wheels?

Guys,

I'm thinking about changing my wheels and wanted to know a rough price on what I can expect to get back for my standard Lexus 17's.

They're all in immaculate condition with no kerbing or corrosion. They haven't been refurbed, so they are the stock colour etc. All four have near new Bridgestone Potenza's on them.

Any ideas?

I sold my mint 17's with nearly new Kumho sport tyres on to a member on here back in Jan, i had to travel to meet him so we agreed on £250

Ouch, not much then. I've seen PX deals (old knackered for new refurbs) for £250.

Maybe I'll sell each wheel separately then as they seem to go for between £60 - 100 on fleabay.

Just bought a single wheel as a spare with a part worn (actually "just legal" would have been a better description) for £41

When I was looking there were quite a few going for less, though they did look in a poorer condition.

One thing you have to consider is - just how many people are looking for a set of old wheels and prepared to collect or pay high courier charges on unseen? Probably not that many.

Good luck

I sold my 5-spoke with a dunlop sp9000 (I think) with 6mm tread on, stuck it on eBay for £90 plus £10 postage (parcel2go.com)

it sold in a couple of days, if the bridgestones are nearly new then let people know in the ad what it would cost to buy just the same tyre seperately

also make the title find a wide customer attraction

"Lexus IS200 IS300 IS 200 300 Alloy Bridgestone 215/45 17" is what I would go for (altho mine had dunlop in place of bridgestone, so it may not all fit)

this was so that people just looking by tyre size will find your ad, and may buy just for the tyre
