Forgive me for suggesting this but have you checked the wiring loom that runs in the boot hinge? Check out one of the other recent postings. Apparently a broken wire here can cause all sorts of funny business. The other thing that occured to me (again, i apologise if this is a bit simple) but is the fuel filter flowing freely? :tomato:

A Lexus powered 4x4 sounds good though!

Yes both of these have been checked, infact the boot wiring was one of my first hopes, thanks anyway

I am more than confident that the engine itself is fine and that it just needs a new wiring loom and brain, like me... :blink:
