Keyless Entry

hi. has anybody fitted a keyless entry kit to their is200 ? if so is it easy to do ? thanx

Do you mean proper keyless go? As key stays in your pocket? Can you get kits for that?

I was looking at a kit that just does the keyless entry. would still need to use the key in the ignition. I havnt looked to see if keyless go can be done , would be good if it could

No what I meant was is it proper keyless entry where you touch the door handle and the car opens? Any links?

Yeah a keyless start is a bit trickier because of the immobiliser.

From the info in this advert, it looks like a normal keyless entry system to replace one that you already have. I dont think that it opens the car by touching the back of the door handles like the 2nd Gen IS.
