Recall Letter.....

Got my recall Letter today from Lexus GB.

Apparently I will be contacted by my Nearest Lexus Centre for work to be carried out on the

Fuel Pump Wiring Harness.

I wonder how many Vehicles this effects!

Apparently all affected customers receive an ISF for the Week.

I got my letter today too, wiring and brake seal to do. I shall wait and see. I will demand a very nice courtesy car for sure!

Don't hold your breath.

The kits to carry out the work are not even in the country yet !

Letters sent out by VOSA. Parts not in the dealers yet to actually do the work.

I had my recall work done just before Christmas, wiring loom and brake thingy.

Just had my recall work done , full tank of fuel , bubbly and car washed . Had a tpms replaced £110 quid , which is less the I expected . Alround great service.

On a similar note, my 450h has gone in for its valve spring recall work today...going to miss her :(

i'm looking at moving to a 450h from my 300 in a month or two, i'll need to rememeber to check out that this recall has been carried out.

Only if necessary, it's not required on all model years. Just enter the VIN into the website.

The letter arived about a month ago.

Anyone know how long the delivery takes to arrive after the letter?

Arrived today, ''Champers'' from Fortnums, very happy.

Heh, the bottles arrived a couple of days after my post.

Very fancy wrapping paper.

The Champagne is the best I've had, but at £30 per bottle, it's too expensive to buy.

A bottle £20 flat white is much better value and a simmilar quality.

Gave the 2nd bottle to my sister.

The best part of the package is the Giant Bubble wrap that's between the bottle boxes and the outer box.

Drop it on the floor and stomp on it, very satifying. It pops like a fire cracker going off :)

I had the letter last year but have heard nothing since.

Is anyone else still waiting for their Champagne or the recall work?

Well I don't feel so cheated then. Mine only needs the fuel pump wiring & brake cylinder mods. I got the letter in November but still no contact otherwise.

After 3+ months I would be chasing them up in a big way........fuel system & brakes?

I spoke to Lexus Lincoln about this last week, who say they are still waiting for Parts!
