Hi all you Lexus experts I have just purchased a 56 plate is220d and I have to say I am very pleased with the car. However,the idle speed from start up continues at 1200rpm and only very seldomly returns to what should be the normal idling speed 850/900 rpm. Has anyone experienced this problem,if so I would welcome your comments please,

I used to have this if I was running the AC from a cold-start or if I was waiting in traffic. 2008 IS220d.

You will have 1200 RPM when Engine is cold mate + If heating is working in car the RPM always will be higher as well
