Another Christmas Query !

Recommended Posts

Having had my Mark IV DHP returned to me from the body shop after the fitting of a new nearside wing and a front bumper, courtesy of a BMW 530 emerging from a side street and hitting me, the offside headlight cleaner refuses to give forth any liquid, whilst the nearside works as usual.

I have just spent over an hour looking for details of pipework etc from the washer bottle to the nozzles but have found nothing on my 2000 version of a workshop manual I have on .PDF. In fact it does not show the cleaners as an item that fits to the front bumper. Does anyone have a diagram of how the pipework goes to the headlight cleaners?? Is there a non-return valve that may have been fitted the wrong way round ?

all help greatfully received.

Thanks Andy,

any suggestions as to why only nearside is working, given that a new bumper was fitted and guess the repair shop have not reassembled the pipework correctly. Is the pipework easily accessible so I can debug it or it needs sending back to body shop ??

Cheers Chris
