I've just bought a GS300 year 2000 and the remote for the boot doesn't want to work with either key, any ideas?

How long are you keeping the button pressed on the fob? It needs to be pressed for a few seconds before it pops the boot.

Tried keeping my finger on the button but no luck. I think I'll try removing the lock and having a look around!

Not sure if it affects it but is the boot lock under the dash locked or unlocked? Just a thought.
