Lexus Servicing In Brighton

Hello,

I have received a letter informing me that Brighton Lexus servicing is closing down, which is annoying as I have used them for 4 years and they have been excellent.

Lexus have recommended that I use either Tunbridge Wells or Guildford for servicing but don't mention Croydon, which is much easier to get to for me, but all of these are further than I would like.

Does anyone know of a Lexus specialist in the Brighton area. I have heard of Grove Garage, has anybody used them?.

Thanks.

Ian.

Try Motorline in Firle, near Lewes. Phone 01273 8588999. They maintain quality cars and charge just under half the price for servicing as a Lexus main dealer. They are friendly and helpful. Good luck.

Anybody know anymore good inpedendants in Sussex?

I have an LS430 with rough riding front suspension

Thanks

Jon

Grove Garage as mentioned above are excellent. Another Sussex member told me about them and I highly recommend them. They're in Cambridge Grove Hove and you can find their number if you Google them. BTW, welcome to LOC. Phil

Thanks very much Phil.

I will pop down tomorrow and see them

Motorline in Firle seem to get a good rep as well

Thanks

Jon

Let us know how you get on. The garage owner has a Lexus himself and is Lexus trained. A word of warning though, its in a mews so access is not good, although they're used to it and seem to manage big cars, they've had my LS in twice.

Ok,

Went down there today, you definetly were not kidding, it's as tight as a nuns *ahem*

Anyway, They took the car on a test drive and then got it on to the ramps for an inspection.

Found that it needs two LCA bushes as they are both split on the outside.

Very friendly and knowledgable service, highly recommended

Excellent, glad you found them OK. Another thing I would say about them is they've proved to be very honest and don't try to rip you off.

Good recommendation, Acre. I went to Grove Garage myself and met Leigh--very friendly and impressive. Cambridge Mews is a tight fit indeed and driving my pristine LS 400 in there fills me with horror. How they manage to get big LS 400s in those premises is beyond me.

I could hardly look when they reversed mine out but they have so much experience of manoeuvring in tight spaces.

On another note, there seems to be a growing number of LS owners in Sussex, time for a meet maybe?

I think a meet for LS owners would be fantastic. Please count with my full support.

Maybe someone can give some info on how to organise a meet, and maybe suggest some dates? Not far for the Hampshire owners to come either.

Phil
