Hi all, for the first time ever, she wouldn't start this morning, Battery discharged 'currently' on charge now (excuse the pun!). When I was trying to start her up ,the usual click click click was heard instead of the starter motor...but the cd changer was cycling too...turned off the cd/radio it kept on cycling, turned off the ignition key out still cycling !!! Why??....also any speculation...do you think the Battery is knackered or could it be the cd cycling whilst i am tucked up in bed, flattening my Battery??? How could the cd cycle with the player off and the key out??

I would try and pull the radio fuses just to check the stereo hasn't got itself stuck in the cycle. Not sure what the fuses would be called on the IS, but if they are anything like the GS, it will be something like "no1 radio", "cig" and "dome". They all have a connection of some sort to the radio on the GS.

Also, when it is in this cycle, will it allow you to eject the cd(s)?
