Hi

New to Lexus and site. i bought an approved Lexus IS220d 2 months ago with the full 12 months warranty.

I thought the MPG was low at 37 on motorway drives so booked the vehicle in to Lexus. The outcome is that the EGR valve is leaking and I have an oil leak from the timing cover.

Lexus have told me it has to be inspected by the Warranty company (isn't this Lexus) before any work can be carried out and only then if the Warranty company agrees.

What i thought was amazing was that the service receptionist said the oil leak is not a problem because the oil isn't leaking onto my drive!

Any thoughts on this one.
