dont know why ye guys put up with the 220 tbh. all the hard ship would drive me insane. The difference in economy between a 220d and a 250 petrol is not all that much and no mucking about with lights and particle filters.

yup well .... loans paid up in 14 months then the 220d heap of crap is gone lol ... part ex it for a 250 I think as I do love the IS shape

have my 250 about a year and its probably the best car i have had to date (been driving since the early 90s and been thru a few). Reliability issues so far, a water pump just, which is due at the 50k ish miles region.

Same here. Should've taken the advice I was given before buying it and gone for the 250. Wish I could afford to change it but just bought a house! :(
