Battery Surprise!

Recommended Posts

Was a bit worried after reading the posts about the RX400h Battery not being big enough and people leaving the car standing for only week to come back to a flat Battery!

Imagine my surprise then when I return home after almost 3 weeks and the car starts first time! I have a '08 plate and I wonder if they had made any modifications? Left the auto lights off as suggested - don't know whether that helped or not?

On the same topic I saw this on eBay and wondered whether or not this is better than the standard Battery?

Great that you've posted a positive experience with the Battery issue. It will help the LOC community put the problem into perspective. Since mine was changed I have not been let down and the car has been left for about 10 days. Having said that I do carry a RAC Battery starter with me just in case...

The eBay Battery looks interesting. I think at 70Amph, it has a bit more oomph compared to the ones that Lexus fit as standard which I believe was a 45Amph.
