Hello all.

I signed up ages ago as I almost got an IS. The deal fell through and ended up with keeping my Celica.

Anyway, my name is Jason and I am from South Essex.

I have my Mercedes on eBay now and hope to have an IS in the next few weeks if not sooner.

My budget is VERY low (sub £2k) so I appreciate I will not buy a consourse condition IS, but what are the basics I should look out for. I want this as a daily driver and also something to bring up to date in the weekends.

My previous car was a Banzai featured home made Celica SR turbo so electronics and some mechanicals don't scare me too much.

Anyway, here I am and have a good evening.

someone just bid reserve price on my C200 and bidding ends on Saturday. Hope I don't get a time waster.

As I said, I am looking for a cheap IS200 so it will not be pristine, but so long as it's mechanically sound I will be happy.

Anyway, fingers crossed.
