Car Body Repairs (Essex/ne London

Recommended Posts

In a moment of absolute idiocy yesterday, I managed to reverse the offside rear corner of my beautiful LS 430 into a bollard.

After I'd finished crying  I realised that I don't know of any good car body repairers in North East London or Essex that could do a good job for me without it costing the earth. I'm not putting this through insurance so I need to finance the job myself - so looking for good value as well as good quality.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Ouch, nasty. Please accept my sympathies.

Cant answer the question but what I can say is definately have parking sensors fitted; absolute godsend. The best time to have them fitted is when the bumber needs repainting as this will.

I'm totally ashamed to admit that I have parking sensors and the radio was a bit too loud for me to hear them. Pathetic eh?

Ouch indeed.

(I had my sat nav turned on yesterday, and that wretched women suddenly shouting instructions at me nearly caused me to crash. Now I understand why most people turn her off.)

Hope you can find a good (value) repairer for your Lex. If so, you can recommend him (her? - don't want to be sexist) to other members on this site.

I can highly recommend Jay at Andersons Ind Est, Lower Park Rd WICKFORD, Essex SS12 9EJ (01268 762 212)-he has done lots of painting on my VW. Give him a ring and by sending him the photo of the damage he'll be able to quote you. Tell him Colin with the two tone VW T4 van recommended him to you.

Opposite his workshop is Craig Bradbrook's garage-Craig is a fully trained Lexus mechanic and apart from his excellent knowledge of our cars, he offers good workmanship but NOT at Lexus prices.

my heart goes out to you, but it's all repairable.

Hard luck mate, can understand that being annoying!

Are you far from Lexus Woodford? They have a great bodyshop and quite reasonably priced too. Speak to Sean if you go in :)
