Hi,

My caliper seized and my mechanic was fitting a new one but when we went to remove the slide pin from the carrier it was ruster it and he heated it and sprayed WD40 on it but nothing he just kept trying and trying then it snapped :crybaby:

The pin is stuck in the carrier - it looks like it has been welded in!

Has anyone had this happen? what is the best thing to do?

Can it be drilled out? Would i need a new carrier? How much would one set me back? Does anyone have a slide pin or carrier for sale?

I have a carrier off an IS, but I'm at the airport going to Spain at the moment. If you need it still when I get back in a week, let me know.

Thanks mate will let you know - fingers crossed im going to get someone to drill it out if not I will give you a shout.

Does it come with glide/slide pins? Does anyone know where I can get some from cheaper then main dealer?

-Thanks
