My 00 lexus is 200 se wont turn on the traction control it keeps flashing on the dash and also the handbrake light wont go off.

when mine did this one on my bulbs was blown, so take a look around make sure all brake lights etc are working

If its flashing then it could indicate a fault on the system (If its not the bulbs as the other poster suggested), id get it checked by a garage. Not sure about the handbrake light, could be the sensor of perhaps the handbrake shoes are seized or aren’t releasing properly?

The handbrake light staying on usually indicates either brake light bulb out or brake fluid low. Check all brake lights are working and if they are, then check the fluid level.

The flashing TRC light means there's a problem with the system, you might need to take it to the dealership to get any fault codes read if you don't have an OBDII reader available.

I got the brake light off it was just low brake fluid . traction control still flashing so its booked in lexus dealer so hopefull they can sort that out
