Hi, does anyone know if i will encounter any problems if i remove the header unit for repair. ie; will i need the security numbers. Which I have lost.

If so how do I get the numbers? thanks to anyone that can help me.

If the stereo displays "SEC" momentarily when it is switched on, then it has a code set. If it doesn't, then there is no code and you are good to go. The code is completely user settable to whatever you want at the point the code is enabled, so in principal, there is no way of obtaining it. Some dealers set it to the last 4 of the vin number, so you may be lucky. if "SEC" doesn't show, you have nothing to worry about anyway, so check that first.

Thanks for that will go out and double check, but im pretty sure it has no "sec" displayed when i turn on. once again thanks for the advice.
