is this the new shape for the GS range or just the LF- GH?

It's hard to tell given Lexus's past history. The LF-Sh pretty much went straight from concept to production as the current LS, but the LF-Ch underwent a lot of (unfortunate) modification before becoming the CT200h.

I hope this one stays untweaked though as it does look good despite being heavily influenced by other cars.

Clearly there are references to the Bangle 5 Series, there is no doubt.

Apparently this is a concept testing out future ideas for all their saloons, so the final GS may look different.

What is interesting is that its a hybrid. Some rumours speculate that there will be 2 hybrid models - a 300h and a 450h with a top spec GS-F looking highly likely (with the same 5 litre V8 as in the IS-F and LS600h).

We will know soon enough. Next GS is due next year and we saw final pics of the CT over a year before launch. However maybe Lexus will hold on to the LA and Tokyo Motor shows in November to show.
