Replacement Cd Player What Are My Options?

Recommended Posts

We recently got an is200 sport for another run around car, its so far impressed me with the features and the handling that i find better than the 3 series, but 2 weeks down the line the cd player is busted. Now i know this is common for the IS, which means there must be a sensible easy fix for it as far as replacements go? i realise i cant just plug an old headunit in because my model has an amp. so im just wondering what my options are here without shelling out a fortune.

You can buy a amp bypass lead from eBay which plugs into your amp enabling you to use aftermarket stereos and have no problems with speakers for around £40. Then your options for stereos will depend on how much you want to spend. you will also need a new fascia, which you can get for £10-£15 from autoleads or eBay.
