Sat Nav Screen

[www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=1993442197300&id=1280774549&aid=2116834&l=384b002c56/img]hi all new to the forum just got a 2000 is all works except the sat nav screen you can here the cd drive boot up ,the screen pops up tilts,but the screen does not power up,are there any fuses for it,wiring seems secure that plugs in to it,buttons in centre console dont activate it are they used to power it up or should it power up when it pops up,thanks for any help great site[

has it got the controller down by handbrake you need that to use system. but the screen should still come on either with lexus or if there is a working disk in drive a warning about safe use of system without the controller mine did. if your screen is black and you checked all wiring/fuses and all o.k ide say your screen is dead :crybaby:

What size screen is it? I have a few spare from my Satnav projects

yes i have the controller next to handbrake ,have the disk which you can hear boot up ,controller doesnt seem to do anything,screen pops up but stays black ,is there a fuse for power to the screen if so do you know where,how much for a screen its the older 5 inch type,thanks for the help,pete
