Problem To Lcd Touch Screen Is Still White Light

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a problem with my Lexus ls400 for production in 1998.

Me on the display (LCD touchscreen) shows the horizontal and vertical black lines.

I thought that the problem will be a cold joint on the solders, but the problem remains.

I found two bad smd capacitors and bought new but the problem has not changed.

Is there anyone who could give me advice how to solve the problem?

Thank you so much for the advice.

(after turning the key with 10 seconds showing black lines, and then screen turns white)

Regards Jiri Knotek

The fault looks like the LCD screen itself has a problem, the connections to the screen (tabs) do have a habit of failing causing the lines you see. They can be repaired in the UK but I don't know about in the C.Republic.

Lovely country by the way enjoyed 5 days at the Duo Hotel at Strichkov next to the new metro station a few years ago :D
