My '93 LS400 is to be no more... she has a few issues and once the reg is transfered she'll be gone, a sad day indeed.

Anyhow, apart from removing her leather seats and making them into electric heated office chairs, what does the collective think I should remove and sell on? I have very limited space and not a lot of time on my hands, so removing the engine etc, isn't an option! Is it worth removing her lights etc?

The bulk of its scrap value will be in its weight, so you'd be well advised to remove anything you can store easily, for sale on eBay.

If you have the space you'd be better off keeping it on your driveway and parting it out. Once most of the good stuff is gone, get it on a trailer and take it to the scrapper.

What is the reason for scrapping?

Transplanting the 1UZ-FE into other cars is popular, the engine and box will be worth £3-400 alone.

BTW, how many miles? If not TOO many, and if the engine is sound, I might consider buying it for that...
