High Mileage In A450H

Recommended Posts

hi i wonder if any members could share experiences of owning a hybrid with high mileage.

i had a lexus rx 400 petrol version and did over 120k in 3 years without any problems. i now have a rx450h. i could do up to 200k in the next 5 years.

i am wondering if anything happens to the batteries or anything else expensive ?

would it better to let it go after it has done around 120k ?

thanks

Hi Tommy

My GS450h is over 110k now without fault and will need to cover 200 K+ before I consider its job is done but I do extend the warranty with Lexus because of the cost of parts but I will say it runs better than ever now and is achieving better consumption figures.I buy a combined service and warranty package at just over £2 K per year for 40 K miles which I feel is good value and stops any worries, a lot less than the depreciation on a fresh motor.
