I just thought I'd say hello to everyone.

I have recently bought an is 220d se. I really wanted the se-l for the additional toys but when push come to shove the best condition car with the full lexus service history and lower mileage meant the SE was the best of the bunch I looked at.

However, I am pretty happy with my purchase.

I also own a BMW 320d and a Toyota Supra TT.

THE LEXUS brings a certain feel of status to my group.

all of a sudden I feel quite snobby driving it-lol.

I have been scanning the various threads, some of which are most useful.

Already cleaned the EGRV just for good measure although my car is running just fine.

I do have the dreaded dash rattle but will be getting that sorted out in a few weeks.

I went to Lexus where they tl,d me it's about £460 to remove dash and fit new clips etc.

the same technician offered to do the job on the side for much less which was handy.

Anyway, I hope to keep my eye on the various threads.
