Mk 4 Ls400 Cd Rom Update?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I am fairly new on here

So before anyone jumps down my throat, I have searched for what I need help with

And cannot find what I want(or cant see the woods for the trees?)

I have just bought a MK4 LS400

And would like to update the nav disc

I believe the best I can get is a 2007 cd rom, after speaking with Lexus

They want £114.99 for a cd rom

Which has maps upto 2006, but is known as the 2007 update

Surely someone on here has a copy of this cd rom?

Then maybe I can get a copy from someone?

Obviously I am willing to pay for a copied disc

Can anyone help me???

I have looked on eBay and most other websites

And all they are selling is the dvd versions, which dont work on my early system

Also I am just about to get the car converted to LPG using the egas system

Anyone have this system fitted?

Thanks for your help guys

John

Not much help here then?!

Hi John,

not sure if the copies work and most people do not want to sell the current disc they have :(

I assume the part number you were given was PZ445-LCDEN-07, if that is the case I can supply a new one for £97.46 all in if you are interested.

Andy ..

Is that disc different from PZ485-LCDEN-07 which the map updates website gives me as the update for mine ?

TG

Hi Tony,

that is the same part :) the 445 is just the superceded number ;)

Thanks Andy, is there much of a difference??? As I may as well go down the route of a TOMTOM for not much more money. I just think the cd rom is well over priced for an out of date update. But thanks for the offer anyway. I am thinking this disc is worth £40 as an out of date item. Just my thoughts
