Sports Pedals

Recommended Posts

As I opted for the SE instead of the Sport the motor came with the rubber pedals, I want to put the sports pedals on the car but I have been tol that it is straight forward for the clutch and brake but that the accelerator needs to have a new pedal and linkage? Is this true, and if so is there any way I can get round this by not using Lexus parts?

Hi Simonskippy,

my pedals (Sports edition) are worn-out, so you can see parts of the rubber instead of the aluminium. I went to the dealer and he said, he will replace it on guarantee and that it is not a big effort.

Sorry that I can't give you more help, but I think it sounded not too complicated to change them.

The Accelerator came as a unit including mounting bracket and return spring which has to be bolted onto the bulk head

I tried to order just the pedal but Lexus only supply it as a whole
