just bought my first Lexus a few days ago on ebay- 2001 SC430,78K,interior as new,exterior quite good but not concourse.

For reasons I won't bore you with am not picking it up for about 10 days.My only doubt is the run flat tyres

which will be a first for me but until I've done a few hundred miles I cannot prove/disprove my prejudice about these tyres.

This will replace an Alfa Spider ragtop as my Sunday afternoon car as the boss will not go in a car without heated seats in cold weather and cannot get the dog or grandchildren in the back of the Spider.

One of my kids asked me if the car came with a can of fake tan and a chunky gold bracelet ?!It never struck me as a medallion man car but after some thought I remembered that my dad came from Essex and so told him 'of course it does,your grandad would be proud.....'
