Recently bought a 460SE-L and all good but for some inexplicable reason the front seat memory function is now kaput. The seat moves ok, but when sliding it back I get a beeping.sound which is odd, and the memory function just won't work at all. I.e you cannot store any memory positions. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, steve

Welcome to the LOC.

When you get the beeping noise it normally indicates the system needs a reset, if you have the handbook this may provide a solution or give your dealer a call.

Edit, found this info

What you have to do is move the seat back all the way forward using the power seat back switch until you hear a beep , then move the seat cushion back the entire way again using the power seat control, next move the seat cushion all the way forward using the power control. You can now put the seat in the position you desire and push set and #1.

1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.

2. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep

3. Set the memory now.

Thanks, glad to be here :)

Have had two GS430 and an RX350 before the LS so I guess I am a fan of the marque, preferably the V8 variants which are just awesome in my humble opinion.

Anyway thanks for the info which I will try out tomorrow. Not much else to do on a wet bank holiday weekend I suppose...

Also found this on he web:
