The rubber skirt under my front bumper has split on one corner, probably due to kerbing. Superglue won't hold it together. Anyone had a similar problem and found something to stick it together successfully? I suppose there's always black insulating tape...

Brian :)

You don't want to think about me in a rubber skirt (which I can't keep closed).

When i bought my LS the bottom corner had been broken off and badly repaired. It eventually fell off so i fixed if from behind with Aroldite Rapid for strength and finished and reprofiled the front with a special Isopol plastic bumper repair filler. With it repainted (can of Halfolds plastic bumper paint) you really cannot see the repair.

Simple fix, mine had done the same. Get a part used tube of windscreen cekaflex from your local autoglass or national windscreens, they might charge you a couple of quid. This stuff will bond anything and is black so matches the black trim. Repaired mine about a year ago and despite catching kurbs a couple of times it has stayed bonded together. Hope this helps.
