Squeaky Suspension

Hi I have a constant squeak from the back end, I think It may be the shocker, wen bouncing up and down on the boot it's from the drivers side, would some wd40 fix it or could it be something else?? Thanks

You really need to work out where the squeak is coming from. It's less likely that your shock absorber is squeaking. Try investigating your top and bottom mounts of your shock absorber or even the seat where your coilspring sits, the rubber might have slipped out slightly.

And if you are going to lubricate anything I advise against using WD40, it's more of a penetrator and water dispersant. You'd be better off using a general purpose lithium based grease.

Have the same issue with mine. It's not there all the time though. Had a mechanic take a quick look at it & it wouldn't make a noise...couldn't see anything obvious either. Will have to get it on the hoist & investigate further. Hopefully one of us can find a cure
