Is220D - Fans Lost Power In Air Con And Not In Air Con

Hi Everyone - little problem hopefully someone will be able to give me a hint towards a soloution before I have to take a 140 mile round trip to the stealership!

My fans seem to have lost most of their power - seems to make little difference whether I'm trying to heat or cool the car, in air con or not, or even de-misting the window - I'd say the fans are blowing, at best, at about 30% what they were before.

I did change a Battery fairly recently, but other than that, I can think of no reason this has happened.

They ARE blowing, but more like an asthmatic pensioner than the once proud chilly gale force it could muster with the temp on lo and the A/C on!

Anyone got any suggestions? Blocked filters? Do all fans run on the same fuse circuit?

Cheers in anticipation of some help!

Snap!! Sorry, I can't help but I have the same problem. With my car, if I close the passenger vents then the driver vents air flow increases. Are there more than one fans for the passenger compartment?
