Ipod Installation

Sick of the Error 4 fault I've decided to get an iPod installation done. Reading previous posts the Dice system seems to be the favourite and not a bad price. Just a few questions: 1) As I understand it it works through the CD input. As I have Error 4 and discs stuck I assume that will have to be sorted first? If so How do I get that sorted?? 2) Am I right in thinking you can control the iPod via the Sat Nav Screen? 3) Anyone recomend a reputable company who can install it, in the Manchester area. Thanks
