New Alloys Needed

the more I look at the alloys on my 2001 SC430 the more I dislike them.What on earth was the designer of those plastic manhole covers thinking of ?

So rather than get them refurbed methinks another set of alloys is a better spend.

My question is am I restricted to SC430 alloys ( ie later model)or will other Lexus model wheels fit the

430 wheel studs.

I don't want to fit wider or bigger wheels the OE spec is fine.

All inf is welcome as I'm really a learner on this car.

I'm sure the right alloys will come along at the right price its just a question of being patient.

Lexus did offer a conversion kit for your style of wheel but they were not cheap :(

Retail is £341.57 + vat and here is a pic......

So that is effectively £400 for centre caps!

Will the wheels off the GS or LS not fit on an SC430?

All Lexus wheels are 5x114.3 except for the current shape LS but not all will fit as you need the caliper clearance so LS430 rims will fit as they have the same 45mm offset as the SC, later GS rims ar 42-45 offset and RX rims are 35 offset even the current IS 18" rims might fit :)

PS, the replacement centre discs for your current wheels are £120 + vat each :o plus bolts.
