I'm going to get a few bits in my car covered in carbon effect and just wanted a few pointers. I can remove the usual Stereo surround on centre console and the surround on the dash. Is it hard to remove the surround on the window buttons? Do i have to remove the door cards to get at them or are they just clipped in? Also i' m looking to take the wing mirrors off also,is this a hard job to do. If someone, which i'm sure they have, has done this could they maybe give a few pointers so i'm not fumbling around with it for ages, cheers. This is the crowd thats doing the work. They say that they can remove the parts for me but i want to have a stab at it myself. www.aquaprint.ie

Thanks again for any help.

i can only comment on the window buttons unfortunately but what i did was get the thinnest flat head screwdriver and push it under the 'back' of the surround and the pry it up and it just popped up and out.

this was my attempt at wrapping the button surrounds:
