Hids On A 04 Onwards?

Hi guys did a little search on the hids on this forum but havent had much luck on finding out about 2004 is200s. Basically iv just brought a is200 04 plate and iv noticed that the headlight seems to have xenons or hids builts into the headlights compared to the lower year models. What i want to know is am i able to change the bulbs to higher K-rating bulbs or do i go on and use a set of hids??

If you already have factory HIDs fitted, then yes you can just change the bulbs to a higher K-rating. I believe they are a D2S type bulb.

I'm guessing you have bought a limited edition model - is the car a light grey colour?

If so it has factory HIDs, and I think you can change them - believe the bulbs are D2R though not D2S.
