Aero Wheels

I am looking for some 18 alloy wheels with or without tyres preferably the six spoke AERO ones, incase you know of anyone who has them for sale or would like to swap them.please dont say eBay as just had someone let me down.

There were 2 sets on eBay at the weekend mate both with tyres. 1 set now sold though.

still a set on there, don't look in good nick though & missing centre caps

If you have the original 5 spokes they're the same centre caps. If you get them for a good price a nice refurb and new tyres will sort them.

Heard that aero ones are prone to buckling, not sure if to take risk on it. Have seen a set going for £380 what you rekon? Not sure...

hi,yes sadly they are prone to buckling but if you are careful they should be okay.

Are they the ones currently on eBay for £380 delivered? I was thinking about them, the guy said he would deliver them to me in London for £350. They end tomorrow may even go for less!

He quoted me £380 for delivery to Birmingham, have a load of pictures of them too. Am going to avoid this one now as sounds a bit dodgy especially when he quotes you less for further distance.

Cannot see him deliver those to London and back in his van would cost him an arm and leg from Manchester

That's what i thought mate. But it's cash on delivery so that would be up to him. I got pictures and they look ok, he seems friendly enough too. But I'm not desperate for a set at the moment. Let me know how you get in if you buy them.

Hi well the choice is yours,I wont be bidding for it anyway purely on principle,money is not the be all and end all,will look elsewhere or wait for another set to pop up.

I put my top bid in and have been outbid, so that's that I won't bid anymore. Looks like me and you will be battling over the next set to pop up! Haha!

I've not put a bid in simply because I don't trust them. They are too cheap and there are rumours about this person in my PM.

Why would anyone van down a set of wheels from Manchester to London to £350 all in, would cost the fella about £100 in diesel.

Will wait for the right time, good luck.
