Headlight Auto-Levelling - Diagnose Which Sensor

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My auto-levelling warning light is coming on intermittently; I've read back through the forum and it seems the sensor is likely to be the cause. I know they can be expensive, so, I'd like to try and source a part from a breakers. Is it possible to determine which sensor is faulty with an OBD reader? I haven't got one, but, I'd buy one if it could help me out.

Thanks

Andrew

I have the same issue and i bought an OBD2 scanner from eBay however it didnt pick up the problem, every time i go near the garage to let them scan it the light goes out! The above article is useful in understanding the issue. i also have a pdf document re the fix on a Toyota Prius which is usefil, you can send me your email to ejobrien@talktalk.net and i will forward it to you, i can never seem to figure out how to to PMs on forums. Good luck and hopefully you will get a result
