on my new car the windows and sunroof dont automatically close when i lock the car with the remote, is that normal :question

cause on my old Jag it did (well untill it stopped working completely.. :D)

...silly reply....

have you tried?

a) turn key in drivers door lock and hold in the lock position for 5 secs or so and see of they close

B) press and hold the lock button on the key and see if it opens after a few secs...

failing that I think its unlikley that you have full closure.

I am suprsised the IS does not have it.... THE GS of course has it all going on.... :D :D

sure that you could have an auto electrician wire it up for you?

Have you tried reading the manual?

My Mk4 doesn't automatically close the sunroof and windows because it is a facility to leave them open when the car is locked.

All can be opened and closed with the remote.

well no i didn't think of that really! :lol:

tried what Loz suggested and it's no go, so I'm guessing it just doesnt have full closure central locking. thnx for the feedback! :D
