Hello,

Does anyone know if Lexus or anyone else can upgrade my standard analog radio (Mark Leverson multimedia)to accept a DAB (digital radio)

If so how much and where can I buy it from

I can't answer your question but you could do what I do... unlimited data SIM in my Iphone, then stream internet radio to it connecting either via an FM transitter or the Bluetooth streaming option that I do. Just a thought.

Similar here, would like to know what it would take to get the DAB module into my CT but for now, someone told me about an Android app called TuneIn Radio which enabled me to listen to Test Match Special in a car without Long Wave :D

Only issue - because it works on 3g streaming, it'll not be too happy working in a bad signal area.

If you have an aux input (post 08MY GS) then you can use a Pure Highway DAB unit and connect it via the aux socket. If you don't have aux then you're stuck with using the FM transmitter method. Also, if you're DAB reception is dodgy then you may need to upgrade the antenna from the stick-on one supplied with the Highway to an external amplified one.

I am currently using this tuneIn radio app, makes it easy to get to local radio stations, as well as many other streams worldwide. I would say that it is a great choice for anyone who likes to listen to live radio,.

Sorry i'm a newbie and only got my gs450h last week (2007) model, how do you Bluetooth stream from the Iphone app to the radio? I worked out how to Bluetooth connect the phone for calls but have not seen a sreaming option on the car?
