No. Only ones that have the Multimeadia Pack come with the DVD changer

Tango is correct, the multimedia pack has the screen with sat nav and reversing camera, but the player without the screen also plays DVDs.

Pretty sure that If you don't have the MM you only get a 6 disc CD player. I have an SE-L without the MM. And just the full map sat nav and only have a CD player.

Have you tried to play a music DVD? DVD means Digital Versatile Disc, not Digital Video Disc, and in that regard isn't limited to playing video.

It won't play a disc with, for example, mp3 files burned to it. It will play the audio of a dvd video disc or a dvd-audio disc.

I am pretty sure from previous post that the DVD will NOT play audio MP3 files that are burn to it. If you want to play audio MP3 you must use a CD.

If there are people interested, there are a couple of software programs that will burn mp3 files to a DVD which will be playable in any DVD player, downloadable demo versions are available for both. I have the former and confirm it does work and have hundreds of mp3 files on a single disc, although the latter seems better specified and is half the price.

No. If you want to play DVD or copy DVD on the computer without DVD drive, you need to buy a new one.

Mine's a 2006 SE and I can play DVDs which I have burned on my computer with mp3 files. I don't have a fancy screen - just the standard player which takes 6 discs - can be a mixture of CDs and audio DVDs.

Er...ignore that - it's wrong. Can't play DVDs - my mp3 files are on CDs - you can get about 14 albums on one CD when they're in mp3 format.
