Selling A Lexus Service Plan

I am leaving Lexus. I am going to trade my car in but I have a service plan, paid in full and don't want to give it to the dealer. Is there a way to sell the plan back to Lexus?

I'm not leaving because of the car but due to a change in circumstances, an 8 week old baby, and her 'stuff'! I need an estate and unfortunately I can't quite fund the new RX and there are no GS or IS options, sad really. I've enjoyed my car over the last 3 years.

Worth checking with your dealer. I think they are transferable but whether that would be viable on trade-in I don't know. It would probably make your car more attractive to buyers if you were selling privately though.

Contact the service plan provider and you should be able to get a refund for what you have not used ;) there will probably be an admin charge and as far as I am aware they are non-transferable.

Cheers,

Andy
