Stock Air Suspension - Shock Absorber Leak Out

Hi,

first, sorry for my languange. I am from Czech Republic and my english is bad :).

I have Lexus LS400 (UCF20 II), year 1998 with stock air suspension.

My rear right shock absorber leak out :/. I am scared, that shock absorber can destroy air bag. I want 20" rims in new year.

New original shock absorber cost 1000 GBP, it is horrible price :D.

Please, somebody help me, i cant find aftermarket shock absorber for air suspension :/.

I have few question:

1) Is shock absorber for coil spring same like for air bag?

2) Where i can buy cheaper aftermarket shockabsorber?

3) How is compatibilty of air bag and shock absorber? UCF10 - UCF20 I - UCF20 II.

4) I agree with some old good shock absorber. Have anyone it?

Hello and welcome to the LOC,

You english is very good so don't apologise about it.

The only thing I can say in your language is "hello","yes","no" and "one beer please" which I found very useful when visiting Prague.

I saw some air shocks on eBay last week, I will have another look to see if they are still listed and whether the seller would be willing to ship out to you,or maybe I could get a cheap flight and bring it over and spend a few days in Prague again.

Heh, i am not from Prague. I live in south Czech Republic. But i cant arrive to Prague, its 120 kilometeres. If you see some shock absorber, please let me know.

I saw on UK eBay used schock absorber too. It was 2week ago. But no absorber now :/. I think, that aftermarket dont exist. LS400 isnt common in CZE.

So i cant find some used shock absorber.

I'm from Poland - close to Czech :-) In our auction portal (hope in Czech is same corporation - allegro.pl) I saw shock absorbers in price around 100GBP. I know one of sellers - I bought some parts from him - always in good condition. If you like I can support you in this case (PM me).
