Clear Fogs

fitted clear fogs lamps earlier today.

the lenses look great however when they are switched on the bulbs are a bit too much on the pink side for my liking.

first up they are def borderline for getting a pull from the ice cream men

secondly looking for sensible ideas (hot coals in the lenses nah) so they will have a similar glow as per the standard fogs.

any ideas folks?

Red LEDs?

I have seen a couple of cars with tights streched over the lense. anyone else seen this?

I think it might lend itself to the GS Mk 2....

Try this place, i have smoked rear fog from them and the red blubs they have are red not pink... those blubs are from Japan...

I'm 'testing' some RED LED bulbs for a company at the moment that should be offering a discount soon.

I started talking to them after my brake lights laquer turned white and the red LED's worked a treat, am sure they'll do a brigther version which could be used as a fog, I'll find out if you wish...

walk up to employee and say in a loud manly voice

GOOD MORNING HAVE YOU GOT ANY VERMILION LIGHT BULB PAINT

buy it

paint it on

3 thin coats

put em in the car

just make sure they point in the correct direction and they should work perfectly for clear fog light bulbs
