Gs300 Mkii Battery Type

Recommended Posts

My Battery is on it's way out. It's got a 005L (68Ah and 580CCA) in at the moment but it looks very small compared with the available space.

I've asked Lexus what the specs are and they embraced the chance to disappoint me once more.

Can anyone here tell me what type, capacity and CCA was originally fitted ... and what it should really have now?

Oh you lot have let me down big time. I ask the simplest question and you all stare at your feet and shuffle a bit. Tsk.

So to answer my own question, it was a 80D26L 70Ah 620CCA ..... which is a meaty 068 in the UK.

Now your punishment will be to go to your cars and polish your wheels ... including the fiddly bits you keep putting off.

And what was in my wagon that needed replaced? A 005L 60Ah with a 390CCA probably more suited to a sodding golf buggy than my tank. I blame the previous owners ... should have him cleaning my fiddly bits as punishment!!
