Wiper Sudden Stop Working

Hi everyone.

Has this happen to anyone or know how to fix it?

Been shower all day and while half way journey back from work the wiper stop respond. Had to stop some where for the rain stop

Hope anyone could help me here.

it's both stop working ... how do you fix it? much thankful for your help :phone: By the way ,does the motor has a fuse?

one or both?if one yip my driver oned stopped working!!the linkage wore out..easy repair though

funny... it's working today when i turn the key. Does this mean it needed to be service grease the hinges or something. Any help would be great

Not sure but think if the motor overheats it cuts out and resets itself when cooled down.

Maybe they are starting to seize up. I just stripped out the wipers on a Merc SLK, the spindles were siezed and so tight I had to get a blow torch on one side to get the spindle out.

Polished 'em up and regreased.....OK now.

Thanks. got it re-greased with white grease. Not sure it's a proper stuff but will give it a try. hope it will not happening on another raining day :geek:
