The 220d standard gears provide a 4sp box with 2 overdrives, 5th & 6th, 6th being rarely useable.

I understand that a 3.2 rear axle ration (in place of the2.474) became available in 2007 on the 220d 'sport' - this should provide 33.2 mph/1000rpm in 6th as compared with the useless '43'

Q1 can anyone confirm this? perhaps you have a 'sport' model?

Q2 has anyone changed from the 2.4 to the 3.2, if so what did it cost?
